Guide to buying in China
Direct dealing with factories in China can be difficult at best, and often near impossible.
From the differences in language and culture to the sheer fact that the factories don't have time to continuously draw up quotes without any return.
We deal direct with the factories on your behalf, through sampling, development, production and export, making the process smooth
and easy.
Stage 1
We need a design or example of what you need to produce; the factories are professional and will not accept a simple sketch. If you cannot provide a sample, you must provide a technical
drawing, preferably CAD. If you do not have a technical drawing, checkout our design section for a list of recommended companies who can provide this.
Stage 2 We will do begin sourcing our list of preferred factories for quotes, and contact you within 4 - 10
working days with our best prices. Our prices are only valid for a short time scale as per our official quotes due to constant market fluctuations and currency changes.
We can produce samples prior to confirming the order, but generally the samples are provided once the initial order has been placed as this is a costly process to you, since the factories must produce templates or moulds for your specific design (one of the
major costs in production).
Stage 3 You confirm your order, and we commence production. Lead times vary, depending on the type and size of
order, but we aim to have production underway within 10 working days where possible.
Stage 4 Item is shipped to the UK, we arrange containers or part-containers for shipping. Shipping takes
between 21 and 30 days be sea, or within days by air.
Stage 5 Your container arrives in the UK. Renco Services does not normally provide customs clearance or
forwarding, but have a list of recommended agents who can do this on your behalf.
